Cooking spray: Yes, it is ok to use cooking spray, try to use one made from canola or olive oil, these are healthier for you. Always use small quantities. You can also pour your own oil into a spray bottle . Good luck!

Okay to use: Cooking spray has 3 ingredients: 1) an oil such as olive or canola 2) propellant such as carbon dioxide or nitrous oxide 3) emulsifier such as lecithin.

Depends on type: Do not inhale these sprays as they are not good for the lungs. However olive or canola are healthy oils... The only other concern would be the additives and propellants.
