Allergic Reaction: Highly unlikely. It is very rare to have an allergic reaction to the anesthetic gases used today. Allergies to some of the intravenous medications used as part of the overall anesthetic are possible -but those medications are metabolized relatively quickly and would not cause the chronic symptoms you are experiencing. Are you taking pain meds? Started a new medication of any kind?

Doubt it: I assume you had general anesthesia 2 months ago for the surgical procedure. I can't imagine how general anesthesia could cause a rash that persists for 2 months. (some medications given during anesthesia may cause a rash that lasts for a few minutes. These are similar to a mild allergic reaction confined to the skin and resolve quickly.).
