Needs evaluation: This is not normal, nor is it good for you. There could be physical problems causing the insomnia, or it could be a psychological problem. Regardless, you need to help your doctor play detective and get to the bottom of the cause, because that type of lack of sleep is terrible for you both physically and cognitively. If doc can't help, make appointment with a doc who specializes in sleep disorders.
