I've had blood every once in awhile, i've had an abdominal/pelvic ct and normal upper gi. what else could it be?

You need: A colonoscopy. Many times the cause of the bleeding is not detectable by a ct scan. And of course this could all be due to hemorrhoids. See a GI doctor or colon and rectal surgeon to have your hemorrhoids looked at and if negative get a colonoscopy.
