Too few calories: 900 calories is too few. You are like an anorexic and your body goes into starvation mode and slows down your metabolism. You need to eat at least 1200 calories a day divided into three meals of 400 calories each. Going to the gym is great- keep it up, but you must eat a reasonable amount of calories in order for your body not to reduce its metabolism to a very low rate and halt weight loss.
