TMJ: You need to see a dentist who treats TMJ preferably with a hard splint. Wear it as instructed and in time generally 2-3 months your symptoms will go away. Then wear the splint at night to keep things healthy.

See details: Locking may be a symptoms of a tear in the cartilage of the tmj. I would urged an MRI of the TMJ if conservative therapy does not help. The tear, if present, can be fixed arthroscopically.
