A member asked:

Can anxiety be responsible for muscle twitches and any sort of twitching in the face? (how about tics?)

Anxiety gets bad rap: Anxiety is guilty of many things and often is at the scene when other symptoms act up - but i think it ought not be the prime suspect for facial tics or twitches. It sounds more like the tic/twitch can bring on anxiety about how you look and "what the heck is going on?" your doctor might refer you to a neurologist if it is bad or getting worse or spreading. Also, watch out for drug side efx.
