A member asked:

Pars fracture sitting kills my back. is there any particular way to sit that will help? i have college courses all day.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pars defect/fracture: A pars fracture in the low back often occurs after a hyperextension injury. There is significant low back pain until the fracture heals. A low back brace can reduce pain and speed healing. Avoid tobacco products and anti-inflammatory medication as this impairs healing.
