HPV Vaccine: There are very few cons to any vaccine really. The biggest worry is the cost of this vital vaccine. Since I have some experience burying women from cervical cancer in my career i always advocate for this important vaccine, especially given the gathering proof that it can also be helpful post exposure to hpv.

No Cons: The Gardasil shot is a vaccine that protects you against two low risk hpv types and two high risk types of hpv. The vaccine does not contain any virus. It is quite safe. In my opinion, there is no downside except cost as insurance companies in my state do not cover Gardasil over the age of 26.
