Recent research shows that a single dose of HPV vaccine is quite effective, much more than previously believed. But not as protective as 2 or 3 doses. Please do whatever is necessary to have at least one more dose, even if it's a year or more after the first. (If you are having sex, probably you HAVE been exposed to HPV -- even if monogamous, and for sure if more than 1 partner.) Good luck.
