Can the finger-prick blood drop collection device be used for other sites, like palm? and how many hours / days does it take for the puncture to heal?

Not really: Fingertips are very vascular and easy to, control even in "bleeders"! and easy to clean and dry and heal very quickly - sealed in hours or faster.
