Is epilepsy curable?

No: Only for the most severe cases is a surgical cure attempted. Some children outgrow seizures.

Treatable not curabl: At this time, epilepsy medications are aimed at control. The only cure occurs when surgery is able to remove an area that is the seizure focus.
