Keep it clean: Just use salt water rinse and good brushing and flossing. Our oral cavity heals very well within a day or so. Palliative treatment includes orajel, chloraseptic spray, or any topical Benzocaine numbing medication. The best is to leave it alone.

Why peroxide?: The main question is why did you use peroxide as a mouth rinse? Do you have gum infections, etc.? There are some prescription mouth washes for inflamed gum tissue. But i would see a dentist asap.

See your dentist: Canker sores are very common, and they usually go away on their own without treatment. If your gums are peeling and hurting so bad, see your dentist and find out how to protect yourself from gingivitis while you are pregnant.
