OTC: If you have a viral URI (cold) there are numerous otc products and if you make a list of the symptoms you want relieved and check with your friendly pharmacist they will be happy to guide you to an appropriate product. Hope this clears up soon.

Sore throat cough: Most likely a viral syndrome causing your problem. Gargle with warm water mixed with half teaspoon of salt, take honey and hot tea four times per day. Drink a lot of fluid. Stay warm and get good sleep. If you get worse call your doctor for a check up and treatment.

Cough: First check with your doctor to find the cause of your strong cough. Use a vaporizer, drink tea with honey or lemon. Put vaporub on your chest when you go to bed. Get a cough medicine if you dont need an antibiotic.
