A member asked:

I'm 30 & had my period only 5 times with medical support, my last period was years ago, can i be pregnant by any chance?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Women, even those without periods, can get pregnant. If you're worried, take a pregnancy test. Not having a period can be dangerous though, as it can cause bone loss or uterine cancer. Most women without a period for > 6 months should see a doctor and most doctors, depending on reason for no period, will recommend hormones to prevent bone loss and uterine cancer.
