No. It is inherited: Hereditary conditions are by definition genetically inherited. However recent research into stem cell treatment of inherited conditions of the eye are beginnjng to be treated and studied Retinal tortuosity can also be caused by carbon monoxide exposure. You would benefit from habing your car muffler checked by your mechanic for leaks and see your ophthalmologist.
