It is possible. : Outcome after cardiac arrest is influenced by underlying health and age of the patient, cause of arrest, length of time before first response, length of resuscitation, events during resuscitation, and condition afterward. But it is sometimes (not always)possible to have a normal life. The medical team can help in the discussion about prognosis.
