Avoid caffeine. : Either moderate alcohol use or don't drink. Try to avoid junk carbohydrates. Omega 3 fatty acids help the brain. Think fish (but watch out for fish that tend to have high mercury levels). A cup of chamomile tea or green tea (decaf) can be very soothing. Go for at least 5 servings of vegetables and 4 servings of fruit per day. Stay well hydrated - 64 or > ounces per day. Take care.
