Partner vs. donor: For simplicity, may i assume here you mean anonymous donor insemination? If so, 'no!' - so long as the woman and her partner (if she has one) are fully informed and reach a comfort level beforehand. I'm certain couples will have occasional questions and mixed emotions during a lifetime, but significant regret is really uncommon.
