Not a fan: I am not a fan of these techniques. Your colon is made to handle a high bacterial load and eliminate wastes. Proper nutrition and a high fiber diet with good hydration help it to work better in doing this. Aggressive cleanses can upset electrolyte balance and lead to colon irritation as well as upset normal bacterial flora (and lead to things like c-difficile colitis).
