Pulse and adrenaline: Adrenaline will increase with activity and anxiety. Simply checking your blood pressure could lead to an increase in pulse rate if you were anxiously waiting to see the results! but the amount of increase might be about 10-15 beats per minute difference. If you notice a racing heart beat of over 100 beats per minute while at rest, tell your doctor and get checked out.
