A member asked:

Dad is o+, mom is a+, and i'm o-, does this make sense for blood type?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blood type genetics: Yes. It means that both your mom and dad are heterozygotes. Dad is o/o; +/-; mom is a/o; +/-; you inherit one allele from each. You got an o and an o from dad and mom, and you got a - and a - from them, making you o-.
