Brain damage from risperidone, is this possible?

NO REPORT W MD CONTR: Risperdone effects brain chemicals and can cause side efeects such as tiredness-mental slowness- slurred speech-coordination etc depending on dose and patients sensitivity.Not aware of any reports of brain damage in medically controlled usage.

Yes: risperdone and other anti psychotic medications can cause tardive dyskinesia, a symptom of damage to the brain manifested by an involuntary movement disorder around the mouth and facial muscles. In addition, a change in muscle control resembling Parkinsonisms disease.
