What do you suggest if almost fainting from blood sample?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hard to prevent: This is a normal reflex, called "vasodepressor syncope" and is hard to prevent. Try eating a small breakfast, if possible, on the morning of the test (if it's not fasting!). Tell the phlebotomist you have this problem. Taking your blood in the supine position can help prevent it. If you start to feel sick, speak up immediately!
