Pruritis/Itching: I would encourage you to go to your physician for an exam. The first thing to do is to examine your skin to find a cause like dry skin, skin conditions, or reactions. If none can be found, a systemic cause could be causing the itching. Several lab studies to look for drugs, diabetes, liver disease, kidney or liver disease, lymphoma when a patient has weight loss and night sweats with itching, etc.
