Be calm: General anesthetics are very safe. Don't eat of drink anything at least 8 hours prior to scheduled surgery with the exception of sip of water with medications that you may be taking on a routine basis, especially for high blood pressure, seizure disorder, reflux meds. If you are on a lot of medications, simplest to have them listed down for anesthesiologist. Get a good nihht's sleep.
