Endometrial ablation: If birth control pills are not an option, endometrial ablation maybe. This is a procedure where the inner lining of the uterus is destroyed by heat or by freezing. You won't have menstrual periods anymore or very light periods, but neither may you be able to get pregnant again. You can go home later on the day of the surgery. Consult with a gynecologist for more details.
