Please tell me, could asthma and weezing in my 8 month year old nephew be life threatning?

Possible: In general asthma can be well controlled. Unfortunately, any patient with asthma can be at risk for a severe life threatening flare. With proper controller therapy and prompt recognition and treatment of acute flares this risk can be mitigated.
