Yes: Chickenpox vaccination is not complete protection. People who were previously vaccinated who still develop chickenpox most often have a milder course with fewer lesions ; absence of fever. But 25 to 30% of those can have a course of illness that is the equivalent to that found in an unvaccinated individual.
