Yes,safe: It's safe to take them together - there are no known interactions. The benefits are uncertain - the data is conflicting. Fish oils and flaxseed improve cholesterol but it's not clear that outcomes are actually changed.

Yes, have EFA's: Yes, safe to take. Flax ; fish oil contain essential fatty acids (efa's) which are essential for good health. There 2 efa's, gla (omega 6) ; ala (omega 3). Fish oil has omega 3's, flax has both # ; 6's. Eat healthy: I do not endorse too much in the way of supplements. You should eat plant based foods, eat healthy foods(grains, vegetables, fruits and healthy proteins(nuts, soy foods and low fat dairy) and you will do fine and keep good health.

It is safe: Flax seeds and fish oil contain omega3 essential fatty acids.Also flax seed contains lignas which have anti oxidant properties and it also contains fiber omega3, lignas and fiber, all have protective properties againt cardiovascular disease, as well as certain cancers like breast, colon and prostate cancer. Flax seed and fish oil are natural and safe to take with atenolol;synthroid.

Different: Flaxseed oil is equivalent to 1/5 of fish oil in ( omega 3's )active ingredients by volume. Either is safe with synthroid (thyroxine) or atenalol.
