Why do guys who are bald have much rounder and pointer heads than guys who don't get bald? is skull growth a contributor to male pattern baldness?

Science: I like this question and i like that you are asking it. But, as a physician i can guarantee you that your hypothesis, that all balding men have a specific head shape, is incorrect. Men who are balding or are bald have every normal shape of head as any other population. Head shape in no way is a contributor to male pattern baldness. Great question though.

Male Pattern: Male pattern baldness is related to your genes and male sex hormones. It usually follows a pattern of receding hairline and hair thinning on the crown, and is caused by hormones and genetic predisposition. Each strand of hair you have sits in a tiny hole (cavity) in the skin called a follicle. Baldness in general occurs when the hair follicle shrinks over time, resulting in shorter and finer hair.
