Pregnancy test time: You should be getting a pregnancy test now (if you haven't done so already). When we think of bloody mucus and unprotected sex we think pregnancy. Next on the list are stds, but these can be associated with other types of discharge, burning when you urinate (or no symptoms at all). Regardless, you should probably get checked out. Good luck!

See your MD: A pregnancy test, and thorough history as well as an exam or the cervix should be performed. The exam will look for possible infection , or erosions or abrasions of the vagina and cervix.

Many things: No matter what it is it makes sense to get a medical evaluation. Infectious (chlamydia or gonorrhea) risk is a common reason. Others are abnormal cells on the cervix, a pap smear will likely reveal, and still others are trauma or pregnancy related. Don't delay, get checked.
