Yes, but carefully: The combination of fluoxetine (f) and Carbamazepine (c) introduces a complex metabilic arena in which each medication can influence the metabolism of the other.Adding c while stable on f could reduce the effectiveness of f, adding f to a stable regimen of c could cause the levels of c to rise. Blood levels are available for both. If you feel bad after adding either, s ee your md promptly.
