Yes: A period will come 2 weeks after ovulation. One cannot tell when ovulation will happen, if there are no regular periods yet. So, that first egg (from that first ovulation) can be fertilized with sperm, and a baby will arrive in 9 months... And the woman still will not have had her menstrual period yet.
