A 21-year-old female asked:

On birth control for three days and on the last day of my period, had unprotected sex, what are posibilites of me being pregnant??

Unlikely!: Regardless of the birth control for three days (which will start to protect you from pregnancy and regulate your periods), the fact that you had sex on the last day of period, if regular, would preclude you from getting pregnant...As you ovulate 2 weeks before your period (Mid cycle) and that is the time you would be susceptible for fertilization. Best wishes, stay well.

A 18-year-old female asked:

I am on birth control, I have been for a while. I had unprotected sex this month and my period is very light and brown colored.normal?or am I pregnant

Birth control: Probably normal. Studies find that, used as recommended, oral contraception is 91 percent to 99 percent effective in preventing pregnancy. However, that still means there is a very small risk of pregnancy if the pill is taken perfectly. Condoms act as a back up and prevent sexually transmitted diseases. A pregnancy test can verify if your pregnant or not.
A 43-year-old member asked:

Had unprotected sex not on birth control. Is there any way that i could not be pregnant?

Yes.: If you were ovulating at the time of intercourse, there is a chance. Need to wait and see if next period comes on time, if not check pregnancy test to be sure.
A 35-year-old member asked:

Is it possible to get pregnant if you had unprotected sex but are on birth control?

Possible: Technically, using birth control counts as 'protected' sex (the 'protection' refers to protection from pregnancy, as opposed to protection from stds). But no birth control method is 100% effective, so there is always a chance of getting pregnant.
A 39-year-old member asked:

I got my period can I be pregnant ? I used birth control?

Probably not: Probably not. If you're taking the pill correctly, the chances are very low.
