Doubtful: Having sex on your cycles first day, with a 30 day cycle, would most likely not cause you to get pregnant. You ovulate 14 days before your cycle, and since you were actually starting your cycle, it would be extremely rare for you to be pregnant from that sexual encounter. If you do not want to be pregnant though, unprotected sex is not recommended, and does not protect against sti's either.
