See hepatologist: I doubt that the cold sore is related to the elevated liver function tests. However, given you history, the elevation in liver tests is significant and will require additional testing. Causes could be autoimmune, retained stone or blockage of the bile duct, hepatitis or other infection. See a hepatologist, who is a medical specialist for the liver.
