Not quite...: ...How it goes. Water goes through the stomach and small bowel, gets absorbed into the blood in the large bowel, blood circulates in the entire body, gets filtered in the kidneys which then make urine. So it's not "in the stomach" that it spends most of the time, but in the rest of the body.
