Saline spray: Nosebleeds occur for a variety of reasons. Often it is because the nose dries out, o using saline spray helps. In children, 90% of nosebleeds occur in the front near the nostrils, which is why pinching the nose helps stop it, since pressure is applied in adults, it can be in the back, so pinching helps in fewer cases. Lean head forward, not backward, so you do not swallow the blood. May need scope to evaluate for nasal mass and blood work to check if okay.
