Fluid?: With age ; thyroid, is it fluid build up at end of extremities? If so, would also likely have similar around ankles and would definitely suggest you need to see your dr for evaluation of overall health / heart function, which can be impacted by thyroid, or many other potential issues not amenable to internet diagnosis. See your dr.
