Wait: Until the swelling is gone. Be sure to rinse with copious salt water three times per day until the sockets are healed, approximately three weeks, and see the surgeon to be sure there is no food trapped in the healing sockets.

Let heal first: I would wait until all the swelling has dissipated from the wisdom teeth removals and have a post op check done before proceeding with this other work
