It is not healthy: Whether it affects growth or not it is not healthy! if you choose to do it then you will need to accept consequences whatever they are.... For a male with parents that height your predicted height is 5'10". A girl with parents that height has predicted average height of 5'5".

Stunted growth?:: The natural history of nicotine dependence in teens study (funded by the canadian cancer society) published in the journal annals of epidemiology (17 march 2008) showed that on average, teenage boys who smoked were 2.54 cm shorter than their non-smoking counterparts. I have not reviewed study – so i can not comment on the quality of research. Most males stop growing taller by around age 18.
