Depends: Depends on the difficulty of the extraction. If a simple ; quick extraction with no stitches, probably 1 week would be fine but if difficult extraction, stitches, moderate initial bleeding, large tooth with resultant large extract site, or broken tooth then wait at least 1 month to get a good clot ; initial healing with wound-site closure. If in doubt talk to the dentist who removed the tooth.
