Just one of my knee caps is cold what could be the cause? its been about a week.

?nerve endings: I feel that this distortion in sensation is caused by some mild dysfunction of the superficial nerves in the skin rather than coming from the internal knee structures. I assume that your knee has a normal range of motion without pain.

Depends: The doctor would have to know more about your symptoms and exam you. Unusual for one knee cap to be cold. Are you sure you are not putting a bag of ice on it?
