Probabely Normal But: It is probabely normal at 5 weeks gestation but to be sure i will suggest you check with your OB doctor.

Yes!: That sounds like a very common symptom. You will know everything is going well when you get your first ultrasound. You should be able to see the pregnancy in about a week on a transvaginal ultrasound. Until then, stay healthy and take your prenatal vitamins. Call the doctor if you develop any heavy bleeding or significant pain.
