Depends on Risk: It sounds like you are in the medical field, and from your question i'm assuming you weren't wearing gloves. Getting blood from another person on a finger that you have a healing wound on is a very low risk of transmission of diseases like hepatitis b/c or hiv. If the man has those diseases, taking medication "just in case" may be a good idea. If a low risk individual, no. See your occhealth.
