A member asked:

I switched from ortho tricyclen lo to lutera and now my pharmacy wants me to switch to syronyx (another generic). any bad experiences with syronyx?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I haven't heard: I haven't heard of any problems. Most birth control pills are estrogen and levonogesterol (a progesterone) and these combinations are the most common form of birth control. I think you should be fine. Having said, that, i've had different side effects with different brands, so if you're not happy with side effects, talk to your doctor about switching. Don't suffer in silence!
