It can!: Lymphoma is technically a cancer of lymphocytes, which are immune cells. The abnormal cancerous lymphocytes fill up lymph nodes and bone marrow, crowding out normal immune cells. This can make a person susceptible to infections, even if his or her white blood count is normal or high.

Probably: Lymphoma, as any other cancer, may be related to decreased immunity from the beginning (decreased immunity is one of the factors favoring the appearance of cancer) or may result in decreasing immunity due to progression of disease. Also, chemotherapy for lymphoma may cause decreased immunity. So yes, these patients are more prone to various infections.
