Diagnoses: First you need to find out the cause, if you were evaluated and arthritis, spondylitis, herniated disk, kidney problems and all others causes were ruled out try combination of physical therapy and pain medications under physician guidance.

Not enough info?: Organs intact. Then you should be on estradiol 0.5 to 1.0 But if you take estradiol you need be on a progestional agent. I favor pure progesterone 100 mg. But because of your age, I suspect you may have had a hysterectomy. If so no progesterone is needed. Taking low dose estrogen should not cause back pain!
