Mallampati score 3: Mallampati classification is used to predict the ease of intubation in anesthesiology. The mallampati classification correlates tongue size to pharyngeal size. Soft and hard palate and base of the uvula are visible in mallampati score 3. This is your normal anatomical structure. In my practice is used for obstructive sleep apnea prediction. Hope it helps.
